Since I haven't really been posting here, I suppose I'll do a little pseudo-post to tell you that an article I did about the Louisville skate scene just went live at SLAP Magazine's website.

Do you Twitter? Holy shit, it's an amazing little gem. Anytime there's an update on theProgram, it notifies Twitter, which notifies Myspace and Facebook. TEKMOLOGEEZ!

Anyway, if you don't yet Twitter, go to www.twitter.com and start right now. And make me (theProgram) your first friend! www.twitter.com/theprogramzine is the URL. Make sure you register your phone and have all the updates from theProgram sent directly to your pocket. Or hip if you're one of "those types."

Well, I've now got another reason not to post much here. It looks like I'll be blogging over at The Skateboard Mag's Kevin Wilkins' Good Problem blog. Dont' worry, I still check in every once in a while to follow my friends' updates.

-edited-

there was a rant here about how wack a lot of dudes around here are, but instead of putting them on blast, i'd rather handle it case by case.

You may have already seen this, but I gotta get it out as much as I can.

My wife and I have a gorgeous and loving little puppy to give away to a good home. We'd love to keep her, but we already have 3 dogs and a 4th would be a nightmare.

As far as I can tell, she's boxer and pit bull, but who knows. Our neighbors had her and couldn't take care of her, so rather than see her off to the pound, I took her in. I also have no idea about shots or how old she is or anything. She still has sharp puppy teeth and claws and that sweet puppy breath, so I'm guessing just a couple months.

If you know of anyone that wants a sweet young puppy, let me know.

I've been shooting nothing but skateboarding photos for the past few months. It was nice to finally have something going on today that I wanted to shoot.

just a reminder
that most of the photos that i post in blog fashion go up over at:

www.theprogramzine.com/wordpress

in fact, i seem to be the only one of 6 or 7 dudes that post to that god damned thing.

I don't know how much I'll be posting on this here LJ anymore because I've got a new slot to fill over at theBlog at theProgram. I'm going to keep this thing on because I might find that I want to post stuff here that I don't want to put over there, but I highly doubt it.

The good news is that you can RSS to theBlog over at theProgram so you'll still be notified when I post a photo...that is if you care.

check it out if you feel the urge...

but i wish she were.

the owners of the gallery/boutique in madison had a radical dog named Dakota that was as sweet as pie. i spent more time talking to and hanging out with her than i did the people i was with. well, maybe not, but it was pretty close. i have an unnatural affinity for dogs. evidenced by the fact that i photograph the dogs of other people for my own amusement.

so listen, i don't smoke, never have. not a single puff of a single cigarette ever. and i really think people shouldn't smoke. there isn't a more obviously bad for you thing on the market. BUT! i will admit that smoking looks cool as hell when done correctly. and it makes a photograph even mo' betta. so am i promoting smoking? the answer is maybe.

Holly's parents live on a farm in the middle of West Virginia and they've got 7 or 8 dogs running around most of the time. So, when they've got old furniture to get rid of, they just set it out for the dogs.

I have photos from over 8 rolls of film to choose from when I post now, so it's hard for me to pick just one photo.

But I'm gonna do it.

This is my dog Lou, and you've probably seen similar pictures of him in the past. He likes to sleep. A lot.

sorry for the lack of updates lately. i've been in Madison, Wisconsin shooting an art show with my now much closer friends Patrick Jilbert (www.patrickjilbert.com) and Isaac McKay-Randozzi (www.mydumbluck.com).

Madison is a rad, rad town and I plan on heading back in the very near future.

I shot a lot of film so you'll have to wait on some of those goods, but here's one of many polaroids I shot while up there.
